Splendid authentic example of the PTT Model 1924 landline telephone (often associated with the "Marty" developments). This model, emblematic of the French administration, is distinguished by a very rare two-tone color: the body of the device is in olive green plastic, while the handset and base are brown. This is not the classic black Bakelite version: only the handset is in period Bakelite (dark brown color). The body of the device is made of classic sturdy plastic. This two-tone set, with its original textile cord, is a fascinating testimony to the period and a sought-after collector's item for its chromatic originality. Aesthetics: Very nice vintage cosmetic condition. The colors (olive green and brown) are well preserved and show no major fading. The plastic and Bakelite have retained.
