This Panasonic EF-6151EA is a rare, vintage transportable mobile phone from the mid to late 1980s. Often referred to as a "brick" phone or a "car phone," it was designed to be powered by a 12V vehicle connection and typically included a large battery pack and external aerial. This item comes with its original holdall with carry handle and battery, but is untested and has no ariel. Due to the good aesthetic condition of the phone and holdall, this would make a fantastic addition to any collection. One piece of history I can add to this item is that it was used as a prop in the musical 'Dreams & Promises', which was staged at the Theatre Royal in 2006, which is why I bought it in the first place.
