Name: Review:
I recently purchased two portable power stations, one 60W compact model that I chose due to its sleek design allowing for a small storage space and the convenience of MC4 charging. The solar panel arrived quickly yesterday but was hindered by poor weather conditions which made it difficult to test out. Despite this, the sun eventually emerged and my power station registered its highest reading at 52 whiles fluctuating between zero and various levels throughout the day. I'm pleased with the modest gain of 4% in power generation over a short period during today's weather forecasted better conditions tomorrow. My initial assessment suggests that it was an acceptable performance given the limited exposure to sunlight. In terms of installation, I've opted for a garden feature which allows me to hang the solar panel from a laundry line using two carabiners placed at the top corners. However, this setup proved awkward due to the folding-inwards motion of the solar panel when it was stretched towards the sun. Instead, I opted to place it on the lawn in landscape orientation. The solar panel itself is very lightweight and compact, making it ideal for my garden. A notable aspect of my purchase is the short MC4 cable provided with the power station which will be useful for attaching a longer MC4 cable once we've determined how best to secure each corner.

My experience with this product has left me questioning its overall value, despite some innovative features. The idea of having one panel still operational even when the other is damaged resonates with my past experience with a similar product that fell apart after only a few uses.

However, I was disappointed to find out that the same design flaw persisted in this new model, where only one panel seemed to be working while the other was malfunctioning. It wasn't until I took each panel and examined it closely that I realized what was going on - my old 15W panel had simply been ripped apart.

I've tried to troubleshoot the issue myself, but the instructions provided were woefully inadequate, leaving me little recourse except for seeking outside help from a tester. Thankfully, this problem persisted despite any attempts to resolve it. The device's charging time was notably longer than I expected with the 60W panel, and its low output was only around 0.01A per USB unit.

My overall experience has been marred by frustration at the lack of clarity in the instructions. If it were working as advertised, this product would have been a bargain for the price.
