Originally bought to successfully keep a Visonic house alarm working as our telephone line moved to digital (Virgin) and the alarm was no longer compatible. Have since upgraded alarm to a new system which doesnt require a phone line hence selling this unit. I had this device working with an Asda sim card and the old house alarm was able to dial out during an alarm event using the sim. Making the alarm functional again. Did not have a house phone but assume would work in same way (although reviews on amazon suggest cordless phones do not work). Would need a sim card that is inserted into the rear of the unit in the sim tray. Selling as per the picture with the plug and antenna, no sim card included.
