Product Reviews

Name: Review:
The phone build quality is good, unfortuantely however when I try and share a picture with settings like HDR on or off etc I'm blown away by how poorly they degrade. I've captured some amazing shots from my Samsung S10e using the camera, including footage from a phone stand - while it looks fantastic on-screen, it's nothing compared to what I can do when I upload it online. Meanwhile, my Pixel 9a is a powerhouse, capturing crystal-clear images that make me wonder why anyone bothers sharing them at all. The fact that sending a photo via WhatsApp or any of the other major messaging apps makes the picture look even worse - it's like I'm handing over the phone to someone to take a snapshot of. And don't even get me started on the battery life, which is impressive but only lasts as long as my phone can keep up with its own usage patterns.

I've turned off my Pixel 9a every night and charged it between 20 and 80% - never going below 0 or above 100%. Software-wise, Android is top-notch - I'm loving the YouTube Premium integration and other apps that make everyday life easier. But overall, I just don't think a phone like this would be worth the investment at its current price range. Even Samsung's flagship phones can outshine it for under $1,000.

I was thoroughly impressed when I first laid eyes on this device, its sleek design immediately caught my attention. The screen's clarity is a major plus - everything looks crisp and vibrant from even the smallest angle.

The phone's ease of use is also a significant factor in my overall satisfaction level. It's surprisingly straightforward to navigate, with intuitive controls that make it easy to get started.

As for security features, I've been impressed with how well they've protected me so far. The device has helped prevent what would otherwise have been quite stressful situations - and the update support is top-notch too.

I've got a Pixel 9A, and I'm not exactly blown away by this one - fast performance but also slow for some users, smooth display and cameras that are nice, but decent speakers are underwhelming as always, good battery life is no surprise. Biometrics are solid, especially the face unlock which I really like how it performs in low light conditions just like other brands do with great facial recognition software such as Xiaomi or OnePlus. However, there's one thing missing - optical fingerprint scanning - another unexpected feature here. No problems with connectivity so far, which is a relief. Heard that Google's modem was subpar compared to others, but I've had a decent experience with it. For 4 stars, I believe the pricing isn't worth what you get, especially when compared to phones like Nothing, Samsung, and OnePlus at the same price point - at least make it a 256GB option for the base price. The wireless charging is also underwhelming - just 15w is not enough for my liking. A disappointing selfie cam that still can't compete with Google's amazing post-processing - I remember how sharp and clear the images looked when processed by them, but this one is blurry and smudged in most situations. My older Xiaomi and Samsung devices have way better raw selfies than this Pixel 9A overall performance is solid, much improved from last year's model which I tried on my 6A - a phone that I can easily recommend, unlike the 6A.
