He gave this phone a good try, but I'm afraid he's been disappointed. The image on the sales page showed him with a charging cradle, but when it arrived, he found that it came with a USB cable instead. Despite some issues with build quality, which felt a bit flimsy, the phone has been surprisingly usable. He's had this style Doro for several years, and he was happy until it died about six months ago - so we were looking forward to this upgrade too. However, there are some quirks that make this phone less than perfect. The first thing I noticed was how poorly he figured out the basic features of the phone, which had been easier with his previous model. This is partly due to the lack of clear options for selecting menu items and writing texts - it took him a while to get the hang of it. Still, he's managed to navigate it without too much trouble, especially once he got used to the intuitive menus. The phone has some great features that are worth mentioning: the sound when calling is noticeably better than his Doro, which was surprising at first but then became a pleasant surprise. He also found the SOS feature to be a huge improvement over his previous model - it starts with a short siren and then rings my number using speaker mode.

I think this phone has some good points, despite its limitations. When he's had time to play around with it, he's been impressed by how easy the menus are to use and how well they respond to different inputs. We even tried out the SOS feature together - it was a big improvement over his previous model. The sound quality is actually quite good, considering it's only 2G. Overall, I think this phone is more than adequate for someone who needs a simple, easy-to-use device with basic features. It may not have all the bells and whistles of some other models, but it gets the job done - at least, for now.

I was thoroughly impressed with my purchase of this utility phone, after conducting extensive research on my requirements before making the pre-purchase decision. The large-button flip-fone seemed to tick all the boxes for my purposes and I thought I'd found my ideal device due to its simplicity and ease of use.

However, it wasn't long before I encountered some issues that detracted from my overall experience. Specifically, the Bluetooth function didn't work properly with my system in my Mercedes car, resulting in a frustrating experience with low battery life - between charges with phone on standby was significantly longer than what I had anticipated.

I took it upon myself to investigate further and contacted the supplier after getting some assurances that they would get me a speedy replacement. Thankfully, they provided an immediate response and were able to send a new phone my way quickly. Once I'd found out more about this device's capabilities, I was thrilled with my purchase and grateful for their prompt attention.

Now, as I've started to learn more about the device's features, I'm pleased to report that it has become a valuable addition to my daily life. While I appreciate the comprehensive user manual that came in the box, I'd greatly prefer one that could be easily downloaded online from our website. In hindsight, I believe this would have been an even better purchase.
