I purchased this iPhone 12 from them in January, and I was really looking forward to getting my old phone out of storage and enjoying some great screen time on a new device. The transfer process from my old phone was seamless, and I was thrilled with the phone itself - it looks and feels exactly like my previous one, with all the same buttons and ports.
However, after just a few months of using the iPhone 12, things started to get really weird. Whenever I touched the screen, my contacts would start texting me out of nowhere, and sometimes they'd even call me! It was super frustrating - I was getting so many notifications that I had no idea what was going on.
I tried to contact their customer service team as soon as possible, but all I got were some automated messages telling me that everything is working fine. So, I decided to ask for a replacement or refund instead, and I was surprised to see that they offered only the latter option. This made no sense - if I just wanted a new phone, shouldn't they at least have a repair option? Despite this, I did manage to get my hands on an iPhone 12 case and screen protector (which arrived in a pack of three), and everything was perfect for the first few weeks.
But then disaster struck. Within a month of using the iPhone 12, it decided to malfunction and turn off completely - no charging, forced resets, or even a factory reset could get it back online! I had to be careful not to touch any sensitive areas, but eventually I managed to coax it back to life with some patience.
I'm now in a bit of a bind because my iPhone 12 is on the fritz again. It's really inconvenient having to go through all that hassle - printing labels and packaging items for returns seems like an eternity! And to make matters worse, I've had to change all my passwords (again!) because I'm not entirely sure if this thing is reliable or not.
When they told me that the reason they were sending me a refund was because I returned the device, I couldn't help but think that it's just easier to say "I didn't like it" rather than acknowledging that maybe the product itself wasn't working properly. But hey, I'm not complaining - at least I'll be able to get a replacement or exchange my phone for something new!
